This bottle is 9” tall
with a tooled collared lip and a smooth base.
It is embossed OLD HICKORY CELEBRATED STOMACH BITTERS on one side, J. GROSSMAN
NEW ORLEANS, LA on another panel. The glass is medium amber with some bubbles
in the blown glass. It has some very light swirls on the surface, a pin head
size nick on the right beveled edge of the Grossman panel, a scratch on a flat
panel to the left about a pencil eraser size, and another by the LA ¼ “
long. Only mentioned for accuracy one or
two very tiny pin prick nicks exist. A
nice late 1800’s
