Seltzer & Mineral Water Manufactory was in business on 270 &
274 Royal Street from 1878 to 1894. This bottle is embossed:
C.C.S. & M. CO. / 270 & 274 ROYAL ST. / NEW ORLEANS / THIS
BOTTLE IS NEVER SOLD/ I.G. Co. (Ihmsen Glass Co., Pittsburg, PA,
1871-1898). It has a crescent embossed on the base.
It is aqua, has an area of very light spotty haze and it has a little wear on the letters and on the side of the bottle. It has a pinpoint nick and two small bruises, about 1/4” total, on the very top edge of the lip only seen by looking down on the lip.
