RARE NEW ORLEANS SUGAR BOWL BEVERAGE BY DR PEPPER
This ACL soda I have not seen or heard of in my almost 40 years of collecting. From the bottom numbers I was told it dates to 1941, the beginning of World War II. This is probably the reason for its short lived time on the market. This beverage was made to commemorate the famous sugar bowl games in New Orleans held at Tulane Stadium.
The condition is near perfect with no chips, cracks or stains. The only thing wrong on the label is a pinpoint nick in the white border under the label and the rubbing of the I in Drink. The bottle is 7 ½” tall and 8 oz.
