This jar is a beautiful yellow-green or emerald green and is nicely whittled. It stands 7 3/8" tall. The only problem is a 3/16" chip
on the outer lip rim that does not extend through the rim. It is on the side and does not show when viewed from the front. The base is
smooth but crude and the bottle probably dates to the Civil War era.
