More Scarce New Orleans Beers
Small Size Jax Special Bock Beer and Falstaff Beer
These bottles are 7 7/8" tall and contained 7 fluid ounces. They were served at seafood restaurants along the lake front of Lake Ponchartrain that are gone now due to hurricanes.
Jax Special Bock was a short run brew which makes this bottle and labels rare. Bottled by Jackson Brewing Company in New Orleans.
The base reads N in a square 38/52 as noted in the poicture below. The bottle is in mint condition, but the labels have some discoloration due to being
stored in a damp area.

This Falstaff Beer was brewed by the Falstaff Brewing Company of New Orleans. The bottle is in mint condition with its original cap and contents, but the label has some edge
wear along the edge. This bottle is rare in this condition. The base is embossed 439-B / 12 R in triangle 42.

12 Ounce FALSTAFF BEER 1951
This 12 oz beer is 9 1/2" tall. The base is embossed: N in box 8 / 51. Its bottled by Falstaff Brewing Corp., New Orleans plants at Omaha, St. Louis,
New Orleans. The bottle is mint, but the label has some slight wear around the edges with some light wrinkles on the neck label.

Scarce 4X PILSENER BEER NEW ORLEANS BREWING CO
It measures 9 1/2" tall. The base is embossed N in box 66 / 48. This label is the shinier aluminum label. The bottle is mint, but the label is a little
rough with some wear areas and a couple of missing pieces and dull spots. The label reads The Famous Old Quality 4X Pilsener Beer New Orleans Brewing Co.
, Inc., New Orleans, U.S.A. (eagle with XXXX keg with Hops & Malt in crescent).

This beer measures 9 1/2" tall. The bottle has some case wear on the body above the main label and around the bottom, no chips or cracks. The label is intact and has very slight
wear on the edges and some light wrinkles. The neck label reads: Since (monogram JBC) 1890. The Main Label reads: JAX / BEER / Premium Brewed /
JACKSON BREWING CO . NEW ORLEANS, LA . CONTENTS 12 FL OZS (symbol) 8. The base is embossed 43312 / M / 1 and 2 on the left side, 62 on the right side.

This one also measures 9 1/2" tall. The base is embossed 15 (i in circle) 52 / 7/ Duraglass / GX 2159. It is in perfect condition.

OLD UNION BEER 1927 - 1936
This bottle is 9 1/2" tall. It is embossed below the lip on the neck: U P CO. On the shoulder a
horseshoe is embossed with UNION PRODUCTS COMPANY INC. Inside the horseshoe is embossed NEW / ORLEANS / LA. / REG.
The base on the green/aqua one is embossed C in a circle/ THIS BOTTLE ON / DEPOSIT ONLY / 7. It has about half of a paper label on it that reeads Old / Union/ r Beer / REVENUE TAX PAID /
OLD TIME FLAVOR / CO. INC / ORLEANS, LA. This bottle is in near mint condition except for a few minor scratches on the shoulder. It is rare in this color and this label.
