Bar Punched Work Silver Jack Daniels Whiskey Decanter Stand
This decorative punch work
stand was given away along with a bottle of Jack Daniels Whiskey to special
visitors or groups to the distillery.
The stand is stamped JACK DANIELS/ OLD No 7. On the base it is marked BEST SILVER PLATE /
J (a crown) D / MADE IN ENGLAND. It
measures 4 1/8” high X 4 1/8” X 4 3/8”. Aside from a little tarnish, no damage
exists.
I was told by people that
should know that it is heavier than later examples and probably dates to the
1950’s or earlier.It is an interesting and hard
to find go-with for a good J D collection.
