The crude double ring lip and recessed dot base date this apothecary or druggist to the early 1860's Civil War period. The bottle is aqua and measures about 6 1/2" tall. It has some minor problems such as an approximately 1/2" chip between the double rings on the front that does not show due to its position and a tiny pinhead sized ding on the lower rear. Some light scratches and internal haze that should come out with a minor tumble cleaning. Like a 150 year old person the bottle shows plenty of character and history with its whittles and bubbles.
