I recently acquired this 1890 to early 1900 blown turn mold, tooled lip whiskey bottle. This bottle is 11 1/8" tall in a beautiful orange amber color with a collar and ring type lip. The label is almost complete with only about 10% missing and the neck label reads: Guaranteed to be strictly pure and free from all deleterious substances/TRENTON WINE & LIQUOR CO./ 120 South Broad St./Trenton N.J./K A intertwined monogram.
This bottle is a little different in that the base is recessed in the center which is somewhat dull and has some raised areas. In the recess is a narrow pencil line ring of glass that can varely be felt with a fingernail. This could be the effect of the turn mold process. The bottle is sparking mint with no stain, chips, or cracks.
